Yes folks I have invaded the NR territory !!! Watch out. WAP7 2280 Nizamuddin Jhansi Taj express, singing my favorite horn, passes Vrindaban road, 10 KM from Mathura. P7 was GZB 30255. Very difficult to read GZB shed numbers compared to LGD. The Taj Express was started in 1964 to serve tourists traveling from Delhi to Agra. It was a very popular train especially among foreign tourists, before the Bhopal Shatabdi was introduced in 1986. The train was later extended up to Gwalior, then to Jhansi in 2006. 2280 covers 403 KM in 6.30 HRS with an average of 66 KM/HR and 9 halts. 2279 covers the same distance in 6.40 HRS with an average of 65 KM/HR and same halts. 2280 departs NZM morning 06:00 and arrives NDLS 10:15. 2279 departs JHS afternoon 15:20 and arrives NZM night 22:00.
