This is JesuOtaku's review of Midori Days. Midori Days is produced by Studio Pierrot and available from Media Blasters. This review is unofficial and entirely silly to boot. All media is used for purposes of review and commentary under terms of fair use. Software I employ, if you're curious: Sony Vegas for editing. It's pretty smexy. I also use AutoGK and various AVS programs for encoding and converting different sources. They're pretty cool, too. Sorry for the few abrupt sound editing cutoffs. Midori Days, as it turns out, is a little weird in that the audio sometimes keeps going when the video changes scenes. That, and their odd-ish approach to dubbing where a couple characters slur their speech instead of over-enunciating as is tradition. Me likey the slang-approach, though. I feel like I made this show appear dirtier than it actually is. Hard to say it's really sweet and tender with that premise, huh? A lot of crassness is avoided though, I mean they barely touch on masturbation or anything. (Well, THAT needs to be rephrased! O_O ) It's really hilarious, so unless copious amounts of breasts bother you, (and in that case, you are a rare man or an unusually squeamish woman) you should give this one a go. If nothing else, hearing Seiji squeak like a rubber ducky in the switcheroo episode made my day better.
