Topic set by Jen: Do you feel that if you were born with a female/male body and therefore socialized in that gender would you still have the same interests and hobbies as you do now? I really enjoyed this topic because it made me think of my personal past in a way that I haven't yet. I Looked back and realized that even though I was socially conditioned male, in the scheme of things I had much more room to develop as my unique self, because my parents took a hands off approach with me. Even if It was completely unconscious that my parents let me be myself, I Thank them for that! Its really hard to say what kind of person I would be otherwise, or born into the preferred body. Though I think our personality is molded from prior experiences, family lineage and to get metaphysical, from many lives past. Remember there is a difference between our personality and our essence.
