After 7 years and 5 mths, 8/18/10 marked the first step to finalizing operation Iraqi Freedom. Our US armed force men and women are finally on their way home. The 4th Striker Brigade, 2nd infantry was officially the last combat brigade to leave Iraq and cross over into Kuwait., leaving behind 50,000 troops that will be pulled out on or before the end of 2011.
