I bought my siccors at my local beauty supply store , just make sure to get ones that are made for hair cutting! *In the past it was very hard for me to grow out my hair as long as it is now. Because for some reason the hairdressers would always literally cut way too much off, it's almost like they don't know the difference between 1 inch and 7 inches. To them it's almost as if they mean the same. Which got me quite annoyed. I've been to countless hair salons in my life, I was never happy with any of the results. And they would never understand exactly the type of hair cut I WANT! And in the end I was left angry by the fact that I had to pay so much for results that were horrible and even a tip on top of that? Like come on??!!!.. So this is why , I was so determined to figure out a way how to cut my hair all on my own the exact way and style that I want. Earlier this year I got pretty bored and decided to do something creative in my spare time. I've been wanting to do a fight scene for a while and decided to develop a story using World of Warcraft. Animation is what I do and I decided to use my skills in making something. This is only the second personal creative work I've ever posted so I'm a bit nervous about it. The first being an image I painted years ago which...um... we don't talk about. :) It's a bit nerve-wracking to post creative work for others to judge. I've thought about making this a series but I'm faced with an impending layoff so my future is unclear. If I get a positive reaction I'm sure I'll be working on something else in the future. ----------------- update December 29, 2008 First off I'd like to thank all of you for all of the compliments and even the criticisms. I set out to try and make something I think would be cool and hoped others would think so too. Although I can't possibly reply to all the emails and comments posted I do read it all,trying to anyway, hehe. I definitely appreciate the kind words. About the music, it wasn't something I choose at random but an element that I consider to be just as important as the models, lighting, animations,...etc. It was the driving force for the pace and the inspiration for the story. 1999 President of Ukraine post election campaing video
I did editing and post processing for this video. It made from commercials during election campaign and with video of all heroes of those commercials standing together and singing national Ukrainian anthem. At the end President Kuchma walking with all people from commercials. I cut him from another video and composited with new background. This video played back on National Ukrainian TV channel UT1 during few years every morning when broadcast starts.
